How does it work?

In the de-energized state: the liquid crystal molecules are randomly arranged, light is scattered, and the film appears milky white and opaque, achieving privacy protection.
In the energized state: under the influence of an electric field, the liquid crystal molecules align in an ordered manner, matching the refractive index of the polymer matrix, allowing light to pass through, and the film becomes transparent.
Some high-end products also incorporate dye-dispersed liquid crystal (DLC) technology, which uses black dye molecules to "absorb" rather than "scatter" light, achieving a deeper black privacy effect.

How to maintain it?
Clean with a neutral detergent and a soft cloth. Avoid using corrosive solvents (such as alcohol or ammonia) to prevent damage to the conductive layer.
Avoid scratching the membrane surface with sharp objects. Ensure the edges are sealed during installation to prevent moisture intrusion and potential circuit malfunctions.
